Halloween Happenings in Hamilton & Halton

“When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam,
may luck be yours on Halloween.”

Are you ready to get dressed up in your best costume and head out trick-or-treating, or hit up a fun, local event? Halloween is quickly approaching and we’ve got a bunch of spooky ideas for you, including ghost walks & lots more!

This one is pretty simple; get yourself a great costume from the store or make one yourself, and head out to collect candy and other goodies. Make sure you don’t trick or treat alone, ever go into anyone’s home that you don’t know, and don’t walk the streets in only dark colours – cars won’t be able to see you. We just had to mention these safety tips but now that we’ve covered that, we hope that everyone has a fun evening.

Local Events

There are so many fun events going on around Burlington & Hamilton over the next two weeks such as:

Host a ghostly gathering

Another fun way to celebrate is by planning a spooky party for your friends & family. Decorate your place, hold a costume contest, and serve your guests some interesting creations like Halloween party mix, eyeball tacos, spooky spider deviled eggs, or dead man’s finger sandwiches. Get the music going with some of the spookiest tunes & don’t forget the Halloween classic, the Monster Mash.

Haunted House

You could go to one.. and if so, prepare to have the pants scared off of you! Most places that host haunted houses go all out and you’ll for sure have a few frights. If you’re creative and have the space, you could also plan your own haunted house. You’ll need to make plans, get supplies, recruit some friends/family to help with set up and spooking your guests, invite your friends and the biggest scaredy cats you know.. and you’re all set! Add creepy lights, music, and scary costumes and you’ve created a recipe for terror!

BOO! to you from our crew; hoping that everyone has a fun & safe Halloween!
